St Josephs opened the scoreline when they split the posts. Sixmilebridge soon added one of their own which they followed up a minute later with a second when Morey converted a free. St Josephs came back adding three more points two of which from frees. Morey then converted another placed ball. Sarah Loughnane rattled the Barefield net having received a ball from McGrath. From here Sixmilebridge dominated the half, Keelin Lyons pointing from the half forward line. Soon after Morey collected a rebounding ball, the dropping ball caught Ann Marie McGann off guard when it was found in the net. Olivia Phelan was next to register a score when she pointed after receiving a pass from Morey. Morey added one of her own from play minutes later to conclude the first half.

In the second half the 'Bridge were first to score Morey converting a placed ball. St Josephs secured their first goal from a free. It was not long before Sixmilebridge got their own at the opposite end this time Phelan took the shot. St Josephs pointed before Morey scored her second goal this time coming from a free. In the end Sixmilebridge won on a scoreline of 4-8 to 1-6 against a very fast and physical St Josephs side.

They now face Clooney Quin next Saturday (14th Oct) in the final @ 1pm.
