The Bridge supporters will be on the road to next weekend to Walsh Park Waterford after Ballygunner defeated Thurles Sarsfields after extra time on a score of 1-21 to 1-19. The sides finished level on 1-14 each in normal time before the Waterford champions won out in extra time. The Bridge previously met Ballygunner in 1992 in Munster Club action in O'Garney Park.

Meanwhile on the domestic front in their third quarter-final meeting, Kilmaley defeated Feakle 1-21 2-10 in Clonlara this morning. Kilmaley will now face Newmarket on Fergus in the Cup semi final at a date to be finalised possibily on the weekend of November 11/12 or 25/26.

Sixmilebridge are already qualied for the Clare Cup Final 2017 and await the winners of Kilmaley & Newmarket.
