Labhair Gaeilge Linn
As the recently appointed Irish Officer of the club, I would like to facilitate anybody who wishes:
a) To communicate through Irish on an informal social basis by identifying like- minded people - Ní neart go cur le chéile
b) To provide opportunities for those who wish to learn, improve or practice their Irish in an easy informal manner.
c) To gain informal practice for oral exams - Taithí a dhéanann máistreacht
The experts advise that the best way to learn any language is to begin with a few word and a few simple sentences and to have a go - Diaidh ar ndiaidh a thógtar na caisleáin.
There are many free sites – try ‘Duolingo Irish: learn Irish in 5 minuits a day – free’ or ‘Teanglann.ie’ – a brilliant dictionary.

(1) Siúlóid: Beidh siúlóid (8 Km) ag tosú ag Seipéal Ghort an Choirce (Oatfield Church), Dé Sathairn (20/1/18) ag a 9 00. Togfaidh sé thart ar dhá uair go leith – cóta & bróga láidre ag teastáil.
(2)Pop-up Ghaeltacht: Tar éis na siúlóide beidh soláistí ar fáil I dTigh Uí Ghliasáin áit ina mbeidh Preab-Ghaeltacht ar siúl mar chuid d’Fhéile Cheoil an Gheimhridh ó 12 00 – 2 00 le ceol den scoth ó Tim O Shea agus a chairde. Tá sé seo á reáchtáil i ndílchuimhne ar bheirt Ghaeilgeoiri dílse: Seán Mac An Bhaird agus Séamus Breathnach a bhí mar dhlúthchuid den bhFéile ón tús. All are welcome esp. learners.
