Truagh were first to score with a point one minute in, Finia O’Brien repeated this at the opposite end. Both teams exchanged points Truagh’s coming from a free, O’Brien adding her second. Morey put the ‘Bridge in the lead adding 1-1 both from frees. At half time score 1-3 to 2 points.

In the second half Truagh added a couple of points 1 resulting from a free. Morey added a point from a placed ball before Truagh added two more. Aiveen O’Shea pointed after receiving a pass from Olivia Phelan. Truagh returned with three points on this occasion (1 from a free) to put them one point up. O’Brien answered for the ‘Bridge when she rattled the net. Truagh added one more before O’Brien returned with another point set up nicely by McGrath. Truagh were awarded a free which sent in a dangerous ball to their full forward line resulting in a penalty. Morey and McNamara cleared the line, and the final whistle blew seconds later.
