The great start to our Clare Cup campaign for 2018 was brought to a halt following a 21 point defeat to Kilmaley away on Sunday evening. The home side who were crowned Clare Intermediate champions in 2017 and recently ran up the U21 A final were much the sharper throughout and lead 2-07 to 0-04 at half time. 

The Bridge had the aid of the breeze in the second half but were beaten all over the field and when you take into account Kilmaley had 22 wides through out the hour it tells the story of their total domination.

For Kilmaley the goal scorers were Cian Moloney with 2 goals while Mikey O Neill and Michael O Malley grabbed one each.
