Aoibhín McNamara started the game as she wanted to continue, scoring 0-3. Ballyea bounced back scoring 2 goals which they followed up soon after with 2 points. At half time Ballyea led on a scoreline of 2-2 to 0-3.

Sixmilebridge dominated in the second half keeping Ballyea scoreless. McNamara opened the scoreline once more when she split the posts. Kate Fitzgerald added a point from a free. McNamara went on to find target in the Ballyea goals. Roisin O’Grady put one over the bar before Kate Fitzgerald pointed the final score, from a free.
