A new hard cover book called SIXMILEBRIDGE - IMAGES THROUGH TIME is being launched on FRIDAY NOVEMBER 2nd.

This publication is the work of long time Sixmilebridge GAA club phototoghter Paddy Higgins. It charts the history of our parish over 150 years through a series of fabulous photographs. Included in this are many historic sporting ocassions including 

* 1989 Munster Club Camogie Champions

* 1996 All Ireland Club Hurling Champions

* 1977 County Senior Hurling Champions for the first time

Other highlights include photographs of :

* The Fair Day in Sixmilebridge

* The day the big tree was knocked

* The Village Bank
