After a few weeks at their summer training camps in Costa del Kilkee and further afield, the U10 hurlers were back in action this morning for the 5th Go-Games blitz of the season. The 'Bridge forces were split for this blitz with one team heading to Westbury where Parteen were hosting and another 2 teams made the short trip to Wolfe Tones.

The Factor-50 was left at home on a wet and windy morning with the team in Parteen playing games against the host club and Cratloe while the teams who traveled to Shannon played games against Wolfe Tones and Clonlara.

Unfortunately, we don't have a photo of the other team that played in Shannon this morning. Players were TJ Morey, Fionnan Heffernan, Harry Loughnane, Ronan Gavin, Conor Keogh, Conor Fitzgerald, Neil Og McGiollaCearra, Aidan Cunniffe, Noely Duggan

With only a couple of training sessions under their belts in the last few weeks, the boys were understandably sluggish at times today but overall it was a good morning of hurling in tough conditions and a great opportunity to blow-off the cobwebs after the Summer break. Many thanks to Wolfe Tones and Parteen for hosting the blitz and for the refreshments afterwards.

There will be no U10 training next week as Cul Camp is on. Regular training will commence on Tue 20th August with the final months of the season expected to be very busy with several blitzes and tournaments scheduled.
