The build up for county final day on Sunday week has started already, the bunting is going up around the village and at the school with flags popping up in house windows here and there also. We encourage everyone to get out their colors and support the seniors and U16s who are also in a county final.

The ‘Bridge school is also playing its part with lesson plans occurring on ‘Bridge hurling’ and ‘Bridge supporters chants’, the lessons being led by Mr. Lynch who started with the senior infants this morning. Mr Lynch told Sixmilebridgegaa.com that he feels these lesson plans could be rolled out nationwide and that the kids are responding well, with the chants having already reached level 8!
