Thanks to the efforts of Donal Mullins, David O'Connor and Caimin Morey the Minor Club are delighted to accept a new set of Jerseys from Regeneron as part of their initiative of supporting local sports clubs. This venture has now seen one of the worlds leading science and technology companies providing playing gear to multitudes of sports clubs in the surrounding area.
Our new set of Jerseys will be used across the dual teams we have at U13, U14 and U15 in the years ahead. In fact the new jerseys will get a suitable initiation this coming weekend as our U13A and Academy teams line out in their respective county finals v Inagh Kilnamona and St Joseph's Doora Barefield.
This is the latest example of the high regard which Regeneron have for the Sixmilebridge club and community as supporters will recall the voluntary efforts a team of employees from the Limerick plant spent in cleaning and painting our clubhouse in recent years. Regeneron also donated a number of laptops to Kilmurry school and next week will undertake some gardening and painting works at the local community center (beside Bridge kids).
The Minor club, through Chairman Mike O'Halloran and Coaches Donal, Doc and Caimin were delighted to accept the set of Jerseys from Cork legend Brian Corcoran who works with the lads in the Regeneron plant.
Thanks once again to Regeneron for their continued support and if the jerseys can inspire performances in our young stars that can come close to those of Caimin and Doc for the Senior and Intermediate teams this year, then the future of the Club is in safe hands
Finally Halla wants to clarify that just because he spent 10 minutes in Regeneron doesn't mean he's going to be an assistant coach to DOC in his upcoming campaign for world domination in the Inter firm Hurling championship....!!!
