The Minor Club are delighted to receive a Seasonal Financial boost this year thanks to the strategic efforts of Liz Murphy in Tesco Coonagh and Martina O'Brien in Tesco Ennis.

Readers are no doubt aware of the Tesco "Blue Disc Tokens" Fundraising initiative for Clubs like our own, where shoppers are given blue tokens at the checkout and can choose to place those tokens in the relevant donation box marked for Sixmilebridge GAA etc.

The nominated clubs are then in line to get a share of €1000 with other clubs/causes every few months.

Martina came along with her son Oisin who is a stalwart member of our U12 squad to hand over the Tesco Ennis donation.

Meanwhile camera shy Liz sent along photogenic Alan with Cillian(who nearly qualifies for full-time residency in O'Garney Park!) to present the Tesco Coonagh contribution to Mike O'Halloran Chairman of the Minor Committee in the Club.

Thanks to Martina and Liz for nominating the Club and above all Thanks very much to our loyal supporters who availed of the opportunity to support the 'Bridge when doing their shopping!

Happy Christmas to all our Players, Supporters and their families and we look forward to seeing everyone back healthy and well on the playing field in 2020🎅
