Fresh from their exploits of helping the 'Bridge u14's to their Clare Feile Na nGael success last weekend, a number of these lads were back in the winning groove yesterday to help Ard Scoil claim an impressive Rice cup victory for only the second time in their history.
The Rice cup is an U14 Munster/Leinster competition for all current or former CBS or Presentation Brothers schools.
They defeated Midleton CBS in the final 6-13 to 1-9 and were helped by the presence of 'Bridge lads Storm Devanney, Leon Kelly, Sean McNamara and Luke Keogh in the starting 15, while Luke O'Halloran, Evan Murphy, Cian Gleeson and Colin Kelly(all underage again next year) were part of the squad.

These boys will now turn their attention back to putting in a strong 60 minutes Performance for the 'Bridge U14's in their Co C'ship semi-final versus Corofin on Friday at 7pm in O'Garney Park.

The Minor Club urges all 'Bridge supporters to come along and support these lads tomorrow (Friday evening @ 7PM). To have a home semi-final is great, but it's been hard-earned and Corofin are well known for bringing a vocal support, so let's make sure we make the most of home advantage.
