This weekend is the start of Games 2022 with a busy schedule of Hurling tomorrow with the Harty Cup Final, Parish League commencing and Clare facing Cork in National hurling league.

Excitement is also building with news of the arena heading into the home straight - Pictured above are the lights of the outdoor astro turf which were installed this week. Drainage has been completed on the external hurling wall area which now opens the way for fencing around the external hurling wall area to commence in the next 2 weeks before the turf will be laid.

Soak pits and drainage are in place around the external areas which will allow for final landscaping of the area to be completed.

Inside the arena the walls have been painted, electrical fixings have been completed with lighting installed and the area is now fully closed off.
