Having successfully hosted the U20 championship game between Clare and Cork a couple of weeks ago, the club will now host the Clare versus Kerry game in the Electric Ireland Munster Minor Hurling Championship Quarter Final on Tuesday April 26th at 7pm in O' Garney Park Sixmilebridge. the club is delighted to be hosting another high profile game in our grounds. Indeed there was a huge commitment from club volunteers for the last game to ensure that all that visited our grounds had a good experience. There were upwards of 40 volunteers required for the game and they did their part in various roles along with the stewarding list below - selling lotto, doing the shop, PA, manning gates and car parks etc.. The effort was extremely well coordinated by Club Secretary Adrian Hogan and Assistant Secretary Danny Reddan.

For Tuesday nights game, there will be 3 starters from Sixmilebridge in goalkeeper Mark Sheedy, wing back Fiachra O' Bhraoin who regains his place and midfielder Matthew O' Halloran who has won a starting position after a strong performance against Waterford when he came off the bench. Fionn Hayes is also on the bench and will hopefully also make an appearance as he did in the last game against Waterford. Best of luck to the lads on the night, they will have plenty of local support encouraging them.

Also congrats to the Clare minor side that topped their group in the Celtic Challenge following a 0-14 to 0-11 derby victory over Galway last Saturday, the game also being held in O' Garney Park. Daniel Chaplin, is part of the setup, normally starting in the full forward line but started on the bench for this outing. Roll on the quarter-finals ..
