In recent weeks Clare GAA have introduced U8, U10 an U12 Go Games blitzes which has resulted in a restructure of some our teams - Our U9 and U10 boys are back together for 5 rounds of U10 blitzes between now and the end of October with the first round taking place last Sunday in Gurteen - the home of St. Josephs Doora Barefield.

We had 28 players in attendance made up of 4 teams of 7. Each team played 3 games of 8 minutes a side so every boy in attendance got 48 minutes of Championship style hurling in basking sunshine. The team have had a big focus on rucking, striking and fun the last few weeks and this was very evident in their play in all games.

Thanks to all the coaches in attendance including Peter Kearney, Ultan Heffernan, Tommy Morey, Mikey Russell, Ian Chaplin, Tony Ahern, Ronan O'Hara, Ronan (Toc) O'Shea and Declan Murphy.

There will be no training on Tuesday evening but we will resume on Thursday at 6:30 in Cappa Lodge as we start preparing for our next round of games away to the Clarecastle Magpies on Sunday Week (18 Sept).
