A great weekend of hurling and camogie is on hand for our players and supporters this weekend.

The club finds itself in a fantastic position as we head into October and the tail end of most competitions.

The Junior Cs are already in their County final and indeed drew against the Banner last weekend, that game will be replayed on the weekend of the 15/16 October.

The intermediates are first up this weekend on Saturday when they play St. Joseph's Doora Barefield in the County semi final in Shannon at 1:15pm. Managed by John Nihill, they realise they will face a stiff challenge from Doora who will be eager to regain their senior status having only dropped down in the very recent past. Having beaten Smith O' Briens in their quarter final the Parish will be relying on their star players Alan O' Neill and David Conroy. The 'Bridge will be hoping to go one step further than recent years when they have been very unlucky to bow out at semi final stage. The 'Bridge having despatched local rivals Cratloe in their quarter final will be relying on stalwarts Anthony Liddane, Evan McInerney, David O' Conor, Dara O' Connor and Sean Lynch.

The U16s are up next when they face Kilmaley in Newmarket at 3:30pm in the 'A' County final. This group have put in savage work this year and a county title would be a great reward. Best of luck to the players and management and hopefully they'll bring home the cup.

The Alan Whyte managed Junior As are in action Sunday at 12pm in Gurteen, in their championship semi final and they will face Kilmaley in this encounter. The 'Bridge will be hoping for a repeat of their winning performance against Kilmaley earlier this year in the league. They will be hoping for strong performances from Adrian Chaplin, Cathal Walsh and Stiofan Fitzpatrick.

Next up is the Senior Camogies in their County Semi Final where they face Inagh Kilnamona in Clarecastle at 1pm. They will be looking to county stars Chloe Morey and Marie McGrath for inspiration to drive the senior team back to the heights of the 80s and 90s.

To finish off the weekend the u13s play their County final against Clooney Quin in Clarecastle at 5:30pm. Best of luck to the Terence Chaplin managed side.
