The younger boys and girls in Sixmilebridge school completed their hurling based P.E. classes last week.
220 boys and girls across 9 classes have been busy with a weekly training session since February. Junior and senior infants took turns in the school hall on Wednesdays while 1st and 2nd classes were in the arena on Mondays.

The program rolled out was an athletic development model that aided in developing fundamental movement skills, agility, balance coordination as well as rudimentary & locomotive skills with a big emphasis on total inclusion with all kids been catered for with a big emphasis on fun!!
