Intermediates lose to Tubber Seniors under lights

Tubber travelled to Sixmilebridge on Friday night to play under lights in a fixture that was supposed to take place on Saturday but was re fixed due to a wedding in Tubber. The Tubber team who had been beaten well beaten by Tulla the week earlier gave a performance on the night especially in the second half but it was all square at 1-02 to 0-05 after 23 mins. and at half time the 'Bridge led 1-08 to 0-06.

Sean Lynch got the goal in the first half and finished top scorer for the 'Bridge on 1-04. Anthony Liddane played well at full back and was under quite a bit of pressure from the Tubber full forward. Jason Loughnanne and Darragh Fitzgerald linked well for puckouts and Gavin Whyte looked threatening when he ran at the Tubber defence.
