A windswept O'Garney Park was the venue for an Under 10 Go-Games blitz last Saturday (29th April) where we hosted teams from Clooney-Quin, Ruan and Crusheen.

Sixmilebridge fielded 3 teams in the blitz, with ClooneyQuin and Ruan both bringing 2 teams and Crusheen 1 team. Each team played 3 games - games were 10 aside and made up of two 10 minute half's.

All the Sixmilebridge players put on fine displays of the skills they've been practicing since training resumed last month. We saw great tackling, blocking, hooking and scoring against some very good opposition.

After the blitz, the hungry hordes demolished a mountain of sandwiches, buns and snacks provided by the parents of our Under 10s.
