Friday night saw the official launch of Strictly Come Dancing with a huge turnout at the newly renovated Jack Gleesons bar with Syl O'Connor on the mic as MC for the night.

32 dancers were unveiled over the last month and Friday night saw each of the 16 couples being unveiled with a brief interview of each on the dancers live on stage. A number of the super 16 sponsors were also announced as well as the Judges which will include Davy Fitzgerald, Nigel Bridges, Niall Gilligan and a soon to be revealed 4th judge. The highly rated queen of strictly Bridget Harte is in charge of choreography and each couple will complete as part of a group performance as well as an individual dance.

Tickets are available to purchase from any of the dancers or committee of Kevin Phelan, Emma Fitzpatrick, Bernie Conlon, Deirdre Flannery and Orla Liddane. It promises to be a night to remember on December 1st in a giant marquee at the GAA grounds with a full bar available on the night so start planning your christmas night out now! Weekend tickets are available for €50 which will get you access to all events on the weekend including Jake Carter and Trevor Smith (Garth Brooks Tribute) on Saturday December 2nd and Stars in their Eyes & The Black Fridays on Sunday December 3rd.
