Paidi Fitzpatrick made his Clare Senior hurling debut today in Brian Lohans maiden voyage as Clare manager when he fielded an experimental team against Galway in Ballinderreen.

Fittpatrick lined out at full back while club mate Cathal Malone was introduced as a substitute. Seadhna Morey and Jamie Shanahan are also part of the initial 53 man squad which is due to be reduced pre christmas.

Final Score: Galway 4-16 Clare 0-21
