U8 Hurlers

Well done to the U8 hurlers who took part in a tournament hosted by Corofin on Saturday. The Bridge fielded 4 teams and played Clooney/Quin and Corofin with some great skills on show by this ever improving bunch. Training continues on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6PM. All welcome.

Clare crowned League Champs

Well done to Clare on an excellent win in Thurles on Sunday. The Bridge had a number of panel members including Seadhna Morey, Shane Golden, Cathal Malone (inj) and Alan Mulready. A big congrats to manager Davy Fitz and local GP Dr. P Quinn who is part of the backroom team.

U6 Hurlers hit the field

Last Friday saw the first day our for our U6 hurlers when training began for 2016. The response form players and parents was very encouraging with close to 30 new recruits taking to the field. New coaches and volunteers were well versed by coordinator Caimin Morey who guaranteed all the boys had a fun time. Training continues every Friday at 6PM - All Welcome.

Club Shop

All the lates club gear is available upstairs at the Club shop on Friday evenings from 6-7:30. Linda will be sure to help you out in anything you need from Hurleys and Helmets to Tracksuits and jackets.

Championship Action this weekend

The Bridge adult teams commence championship action this weekend. The Senior team begin the defence of their title on Saturday evening in Cusack Park against Crusheen. This will also double up as their Clare Cup league encounter. The Bridge will be well aware of the difficulty of such a tie having had a number of battles against the Blood and bandages in 2015. The intermediates & Junior A team will also be in action so keep an eys on Clubify for fixture confirmation.
