Our 2012 & 2013 girls served up a feast of skillful Camogie at their first blitz on Saturday morning in Cappa Lodge. There were 3 teams from Sixmilebridge, 3 from Ballyea and 2 from Broadford.

All 30 Sixmilebridge girls came firing out of the blocks after a marathon pre season which saw this blitz rescheduled twice due to communions. The girls played 3 games each, all of which were highly competitive with some excellent hooking, blocking and striking on display.

The girls will continue training with a well deserved fun night Tuesday evening with the next blitz provisionally set for Saturday 4th of June.
