Following Cratloe's request to be upgraded to the U 14 A Championship, it was necessary to revise the draw at our meeting with clubs earlier this week.

The provisional starting date is Aug 21st for the U 14 A & B and the U 14 C will start on Aug 16th provisionally.

The following are the U 14 Championship Groups 

U 14 A

Group 1 > Clonlara, Eire Og & St Joseph's Doora Barefield

Group 2 > Inagh Kilnamona, Kilmaley & Scariff/Ogonnelloe

Group 3 > Clarecastle, Sixmilebridge, Ballyea & Cratloe

2 of the Top 3 Teams drawn straight to the semi-final. The remaining Top Team joins the 3 second placed teams in 2 1/4 Final games (open draw) Then 2 semi-finals (open draw) & Final.

The remaining teams play in the U 14 A Shield

U 14 B

Group 1 > Newmarket,Smith O Brien's, Broadford, Parteen & Clooney Quin

Group 2 > Tulla, Corofin/Ruan, Crusheen/Tubber &Bodyke/O C Mills.

Top 2 teams in each group play crossover semi-finals, winners playing the final.

The remaining 5 teams play in the U 14 B Shield.

U 14 C

Ennistymon, Feakle/Killanena, The Banner, Whitegate & Wolfe Tones.

1 group > 5 Rds > 4 games each with top 2 playing the Final.

The remaining 3 teams play in the U 14 C Shield.

U 14 Academy A

9 Teams > Ballyea, Clonlara, St Joseph's Doora Barefield, Eire Og, Inagh Kilnamona, Kilmaley, Newmarket on-Fergus, Sixmilebridge & Tulla.

This will possibly be a knockout competition, draw to take place.

U 14 Academy B

6 Teams > Bodyke/O C Mills, Clarecastle, Clooney Quin, Corofin/Ruan, Crusheen/Tubber, & Scariff/Ogonnelloe

This will possibly be a knockout competition, draw to take place.

At a meeting with clubs in early June the draws for an U 16 Championship took place which we hope to get started once the U 17 Championships are completed.

The U16 draws were as follows

U 16 A

Group 1 > St Joseph's Doora Barefield, Inagh Kilnamona, & Sixmilebridge

Group 2 > Clarecastle, Clonlara, Eire Og & Kilmaley.

The Top 2 teams from each group to play crossover semi-finals, winners play a final.

U 16 A Shield > 3rd placed team in group 2 to the Shield Final with 4th placed team in group 2 v team 3 from group 1 in a shield semi-final.

U 16 B

Group 1 > Corofin/Ruan, Broadford & Bodyke/O C Mills

Group 2 > Clooney Quin, Scariff/Ogonnelloe & Newmarket on Fergus.

Group 3 > Ballyea, Cratloe & Whitegate.

U 16 C

Group 1 > The Banner, Smith O Brien's, Tulla, & Parteen.

Group 2 > Crusheen/Tubber, Ennistymon, Feakle/Killanena & Wolfe Tones.

Top 2 from each group play crossover semi-finals, winners play the final.

The remaining 4 teams play for U 16 C Shield .

It is not possible at this time to give a provisional starting date but the aim is once the U 17 Championship is completed.
