Our U13A squad played Kilmaley on Wednesday evening in a very entertaining fast paced game. We got off to a great start with Sarah Conlon hitting the net in the first minute. Ceire McNamara followed suit with two superb points and Kate Monahan scored a fantastic goal and point (f) leaving us in a very strong position at half time, Sixmilebridge 2-03 to Kilmaley 0-02.

The second half started as the first, with Ceire McNamara scoring a great goal. This was followed by a point from Ava Maloney and another super goal from Sarah Conlon, ending the game with a 4-04 to 0-04 win to Sixmilebridge.

Eimear Peacock captained the team showing great leadership and encouragement. Our backline under severe pressure from a very strong Kilmaley team, played brilliantly. Every player from Sarah Farrell to Rebecca Healy and all our subs gave it everything, with special mention to Eimear Peacock, Sally Harrison, Brooke O'Connell, Eve O'Reilly and Moyra O'Grady.
