Thursday evening our U13A squad played NOF in a very exciting round 5 of the championship. Unfortunately, it was not to be our day on this occasion with NOF putting the pressure on from the throw in, leaving us with an uphill battle throughout.

Our girls were captained by Sally Harrison who gave a solid performance at full back. She had great support from all the backs who were under constant pressure.

We worked tirelessly and never gave up, with Ceire McNamara, Rebecca Healy and Kate Monaghan unlucky to hit the net. However, Ceire McNamara scored a great point after a lovely hand pass from Emma Chaplin.

Final score NOF 6-5 to SMB 0-1.

We had great performances from Eve O'Reilly and Shona Ryan and when introduced Kaitlyn Hughes and Darcy O'Hara.

Well done to all the girls.
