The U8 girls welcomed Wolfe Tones, Ballyea and Kilkishen on Saturday morning to Cappalodge. It was a lovely morning with the sun starting to come through. The SMB fielded 4 teams of 7 girls who played 4 x 10 minute matches.

The girls once again didn't disappoint. They have been doing so well over the last few weeks. They got stuck into rucks and their striking was a real highlight to see. Opposition feedback was very positive on our girls.

Thanks to the camogie club for sponsoring 100 goodie bags for the teams which all vanished very quickly.

The girls look forward to their next blitz which will be hosted in the Main field and will be a tournament in memory of Bridget Loughnane on 16th September.

Training continues for the girls every Wednesday & Saturday.
