Intermediate Hurling Championship, Rd. 4
Sixmilebridge 2-17
Ogonnolloe 3-12
Venue - Broadford
Referee - Fergal O' Brien

The intermediates concluded their group campaign of the championship last weekend in Broadford with a win against Ogonnolloe. Having already secured wins against Newmarket and Inagh Kilnamona and suffering only one defeat against Pareteen Meelick, the win was enough to send them through to the Quarter Finals finishing second place in the group. Pat Keanes men are hurling well it was great to finish the campaign on a win, having lost a number of players to the senior setup.

The 'Bridge led by 1-10 to 1-6 at half time, with all scores coming from Luke O' Halloran (1-7, 5f) and Alan Mulready (0-3). The second half saw Ogonnoloe keep in touch with 2 goals but the 'Bridge had amassed enough in the end to claim the victory. Good to see Cathaoir Agnew back from injury. Next up for the Intermediates will be a Quarter Final, with the draw taking place Monday evening.
