Great days hurling in Wolfe Tones yesterday for the 1st and 2nd Years of both Shannon secondary schools. Well done to everyone involved, the players, organizers, TY student helpers and the reps from 4 local clubs.


Primary Schools Hurling & Camogie

Schools hurling and Camogie is coming back into Full swing this week - The club would like to welcome Eoin Donnellan who has started teaching in Kilmurry NS. Eoin plays his hurling with Ballyea and is taking his first after school session with the Kilmurry school kids today so we wish him all the best in his teaching career inside and outside the class room for many years to come.

Fergal Lawlor starts schools hurling and camogie coaching in Clonmoney today also - He will visit the school every Tuesday taking all classes throughout the day for hurling and camogie sessions in the schools new astro Turf pitch to compliment the existing afterschool training on Tuesdays and Wednesdays ran by the teachers.

Sixmilebridge NS Camogies played a blitz in St. Caimins yesterday organised by TY students . The school are planning to be back in training action in the coming weeks with plenty of competition ahead across indoor Hurling (3rd/4th Class) as well as the 7s and Cumann na mBunscoil competitions.

The club is planning some inter schools competitions between our 3 feeder primary schools also so watch this space.
