This is the time of the year when people reflect on the many things that happened on the Year gone by, the Sixmilebridge GAA Club have some reflection of their own but firstly, we hope you have enjoyed the Christmas, and look forward to 2024, so let’s have a look back on 2023.
A…. Arena, what an opening Evening, after years, months, weeks, and days, it finally opened in October 27 th a credit to all concerned. A also for All Ireland winners, 2 Minor Hurling Medals for the Club, well done lads.
B…. Bingo, fantastic Committee.
C…Camogie, new leaders this year, well done to the outgoing Committee. 3 All Ireland Camogie Medal winners in the Club this year, well done ladies. Brilliant Coaching Courses this year also.
D…Yet another Dancing Title in Scor this year for the Club.
E…Emigration, best wishes to all on their Travels.
F…Finance…difficult to believe but, the average cost of running the Club this year was € 6500 per Month. Future, as the old saying goes, “Don’t try and predict the future, try and Invent it” FIELD, thanks to all who keep a watchful eye day after day.
G…. Fantastic personnel involved in acquiring Grants.
H…. Win a HOUSE in Ennis…. every ticket you buy directly through the Club, will be a huge benefit to the Club. Set up a small syndicate, purchase your tickets, it could change your life. Also, superb work by the Hurling Development this year, their first in office.
I…I often wonder do people realise the importance of their contribution to any aspect of supporting the Club really count…from a Club point of view, your support is invaluable.

M... A vibrant Minor Club is a stepping stone to even greater Dreams.

O… One Hundred and Twenty years this year, (2024) since the foundation of the Club.
P…. Players, approximately 635 players togged out this year for the Minor, Camogie, and Senior Clubs.
