The below link on Clubify is to help people involved in any way with kids under 18 in the club, to get going on getting their application to be Garda vetted for GAA purposes.
It is mandatory in the GAA for anyone involved directly or involved in overseeing youth activities in a GAA club.
Once received, the vetting is valid for 5 years, likewise anyone who received their last vetting clearance in 2012 or before it needs to complete it again, but this time through the handy online option which is now available through the link below.
In the application there is a box for Membership ID number but it isn't compulsory and people can proceed without it.
On a separate but related note, it is also mandatory to have completed a Child protection course within the last 3 years, again for anyone involved in GAA activities for Players from U6 to U18 or overseeing these activities in a Club.
