Last Weekend St. Flannans College celebrated the Silver Jubilee of their 3 in a row Harty Cup wins: 1999 - 2001

Two of our boys Robert Conlon and Brian Culbert were part of the celebrations held in the college with players from the 3 teams and coaches and staff in attendance.

Robert had the distinction of winning 3 Harty cup medals (1998,99,2000) and 2 All Irelands (1998/1999) while Brian won the double in 1999 (Harty & All Ireland) and a Harty in 2000 only for both boys to suffer defeat in the all Ireland of 2000.

Robert made history in this era in the school as the only player to win 3 Hartys and his hurling lives on as he still is a major player for the Bridge Juniors. Brian has won championships at all level with the Bridge and was a coach to our Seniors winning 3 championships and is one of the main drivers in our Bridge Bucks training at Spraoi Saturdays in the arena.
