On Wednesday morning we welcomed St. Finnachtas NS Sixmilebridge, Kilmurry NS and Clonmoney NS to the indoor arena for an indoor 7 a side indoor hurling tournament in preparation for the upcoming INTO 7s competition.

All 3 schools brought 2 teams each and each team played 3 games each with each game lasting 10 minutes.

The format involved a league style where each school played each other with a combined score counting across both school teams and the day ended with a Championship style format with one bonus game each per team.

Well done to all the boys who took part and thanks to their teachers Mr. Minogue & Mr. Lynch (SMB), Mr. Donnellan (Kilmurry), Mr. Guilfoyle & Mr. McCormack (Clonmoney).

All in all it was a super 90 minutes of hurling - Thanks to the hurling development group in the club for organising and to Brian for refereeing all 9 games and to all 3 school principals for their support and there was great enthusiasm in making this an annual event.
