Bingo
Bingo takes place each Monday at 830pm in the Gaa Hall at O' Garney Park, the main field, across from the school. The Committee have been busy recently purchasing new tables and setting up a new layout for the comfort and benefit of our many supporting patrons. New players are welcome and there are great prizes on offer each week and of course the opportunity to meet up with patrons from within the community and also from our neighboring parishes. All in all this wonderful fixture on our calendar is a great social experience where you can win a few bob, meet up with friends and enjoy a nice cup of tea and treat. Many of us remember being brought as kids by our Grandparents or Aunties and the getting the small book to mark on your own. New players are always welcome! Well done to the current committee keeping this wonderful tradition alive, Mary Corbett, Adrian Hogan, John Corbett, Jim Markham, John Gaule, Sean Griffin, Tom Culbert and Joan Keogh. Also well done to James Scanlon who organized the Grant funding for the tables and other works through the Community Hall Refurbishment Scheme.

Club Lotto
Our Club Lotto is what keeps the Club going, including upkeep of our facilities and paying for electricty and oil for heating and lights etc.. The Jackpot is currently at a whopping €19,500, a tidy sum that would make a huge difference in any household. Make sure you are in with a chance to win. We have noticed a big increase in sales as people recognize that this amount would be a game changer in their house! Well done to last weeks Lucky Dip winners were: Michael Russell, Mike Morey, Laura & Johnny Corbett, Damien Keane, Pat Gilligan. Ciaran Hassett. Derek Corbett, Margaret Collins, James Ahern, Luka Corbett. Bridge Players with the County
Well done to our Adult hurlers who continue to represent the County. Yesterday the Clare seniors drew with Wexford in Wexford park, Cathal Malone lining out at midfield and Seadna Morey among the replacements, both getting plenty of game time over the last few weeks in the National League. Well done also to All Ireland Winning Minor Goalkeeper Mark Sheedy, who is now training away with the Clare U20 panel. There are many underage Bridge players also who are members of and training away with the underage Clare teams and Development Squads and we will have an update on these in the coming weeks.

Online Shop
It is great to have the Online Shop available with O' Neills Club gear currently available. See link here for all the Club Merch! Remember Lynda Quinn is still available most Thursdays 6-8pm and can offer great advice on products available and to facilitate fitting etc. Lynda of course was a fantastic camogioe hurler with the club in her day, see her pictured below as part of the 1989 Sixmilebridge Camogie Munster Camogie winning side!

Win a House in Ennis
Well done to Joan Keogh who managed the clubs efforts regarding ticket sales for the massive Clare Gaa Fundraiser recently. With almost 200 tickets sold through the club, Sixmilebridge Gaa ranked No. 8th in the County and this will generate a return of approx. €5,000 back to the club as a portion of each ticket sold was earmarked for return to the selling club. The Fundraiser, in its second year was massively pushed by County Board Chairman Kieran Keating. Kieran of course is a Sixmilebridge Gaa club member and resides locally and is a former Minor Club Chairman and Bingo Committee member. The House was won by a Miltown Malbay native and has generated a profit of almost €700,000 for Clare Gaa after ticket sales neared an incredible 15,000.

Ireland Lights Up Steps Challenge
Well done to Brian O' Neill who managed and promoted the annual Ireland Lights Up Steps Challenge which was held on Wednesday nights at the Club grounds. The weekly meetups were well attended and with the floodlights on at the pitch each evening, a pleasant atmosphere was available to meet up and walk, talk, run or jog, whatever suited for the large groups that attended. The event allowed families and friends to get out and about for a bit of fresh air in a safe environment in the dark winter evenings. There was of course as there is every year a 'challenge' involved and this was twofold with a clubs challenge nationwide and an individuals challenge within each club. Unfortunately the 'Bridge did not win this one but finished 84th across the country with 7,752 Km clocked up by parricipants from Sixmilebridge. An incredible effort by some, see results below.
