Newly appointed Intermediate 2 manager Richard Cahill got his team off to a winning start today away to Ennistymon in round 1 of the iItermediate league, Division 3. This is the clubs 3rd of 4 adult teams in competition for 2017 which again is a testament to all the players who still love putting on the club jersey but some lads will always go that little bit extra.

Kevin Phelan narrowly missed a one on one chance. Brian Culbert who formerly managed the Ennistymon outfit, Robert Conlon and Ronan Cahill were very good. Scores came from Culbert, Conlon, Phelan, Whelan, Cahill, Fitzpatrick.

So a 100% percent win rate for management.
