Following 3 weeks of training under the leadership of David O'Connor and Caimin Morey our U8 hurlers took part in their first blitz of 2017 at Caherlohan on Saturday last. This was a SuperBlitz and involved clubs from all over the county and we had 28 players present which were divided up into 4 teams with each and every player displaying all the skills they have been practicing in training to date as well as representing their club in a disciplined and fun manner which is a credit to all the boys and their families.

We would like to thank all the coaches and parents who helped out on the day in all capacities from transport to shouts of encouragement. 

David and Caimin invite any parents interested in helping out with the coaching in any capacity to make themselves known at training which takes place on a Monday and Wednesday evening from 6PM to 7PM. Every little helps and with the large numbers its vital to try and keep the ratio of 1:6 for the year ahead.
