U15A Camogie Championship Round 2

The U15 girls team played in the second round of the U15A Championship on Wednesday April 3rd against Inagh-Kilnamona in Sixmilebridge.

In a hard fought and close game the Bridge girls came out on top on a score line of 2-6 to 0-10. It was a game of two halves, Inagh-Kilnamona went in at half time ahead 0-7 to 0-3 having played with the aid of a strong wind. The Bridge came out in the second half and scored two quick goals which turned the game in their favour.

The girls had to withstand a lot of pressure from Inagh-Kilnamona in the last ten minutes but held out for a two point victory. It was an excellent team performance by the girls particularly in the 2nd half where each girl fought hard to record their 2nd successive victory in the A Championship.

Next up is an away game against Kilmaley on April 17th.
