U15A Camogie Championship
Sixmilebridge v St. Joseph’s
Sixmilebridge Main Field

Wednesday May 8th saw the U15A Camogie team, having topped their group, line out for the Championship Semi Final against St. Joseph's Doora Barefield.
The game saw both teams understandably start nervously. The Bridge girls, after the nervy opening, began to get the better of the exchanges and took the game to their opponents, with a lot of possession and a great high press, the girls went in at half time to a scoreline of 2-5 to 1-2.
The Bridge girls started the second half very brightly, scoring 2 quick points to put a bit of daylight between the sides. The final 20 minutes saw a very tight game emerge, where scores were traded right to the end.
It was a nervy finish to the game, but the Bridge girls kept their opponents at bay and ran out winners by a scoreline of 3-9 to 2-7.
Next up for the girls is the Championship Co. Final where they will play Kilmaley on May 18th, time to TBC,  Fr. McNamara Park, Ennis.

All the girls gave it their all in a really physical contest, with great performances all over the field, where there were some notable performances from Halle Keogh, Moire O Grady, Eimear Peacock & Sarah Conlon.
Best of Luck girls in the U15A County Final.
