U13A Hurling Championship
The boys were in action last Monday night away to Ballyea and after a poor start they came flying back into the game with an 11 point turn around for what turned out to be another classic game with the score finishing as Sixmilebridge 5-11 Ballyea 3-17.
Last night we were back to winning ways when we defeated Inagh/Kilnamona to see us qualified for the Semi Final stages with one game remaining in the group against Kilmaley.

Kilmaley V Sixmilebridge
While thee 4 teams are safely through to the Semi Finals the results of the games will have a bearing on the final rankings with the semi final lineup seeing 1V4 and 2V3.

U13A Academy
While the boys thundered back into the game against Ballyea on Monday night their team mates on the Academy team experienced a different type of Thundering when they welcomed Newmarket to O'Garney Park on Thursday. After a a sunny start which saw the Bridge lead 1-04 to 2-00 after 15 minutes the skies opened and Thunder and Lightening meant the referee had no other option than to call off the game. With the 1/4 final games happening this week the Board awarded a point to both clubs which now sees the Bridge qualify on top of the group which sees them receive a bye straight to the semi final. This will be an open draw which will take place after the 1/4 Finals.
The draw for the quarter final stages which take place this Thursday are as follows ...

Newmarket V St Josephs Doora Barefield
Inagh/Kilnamona V Kilmaley
