St Finnachtas - Sixmilebridge NS Hurling
The Semi Finals of the Division 1 Hurling Championship take place next week - the Bridge will meet Gaelscoil Mhichil Ciosog in a repeat of last years final. This game takes place in Clareabbey (across from Clarecastle GAA Grounds) on this coming Thursday (6th June) at 11am. The second semi final sees Cratloe play Ballyea.
Primary Game
Well done to Liam Mulready who lined out last Sunday against Tipperary in the Primary game in Semple Stadium. What an experience for Liam and he done us all proud with his performance including a lovely point early in the game.
We have some more exciting news about our participation in the Primary game to be announced next week so watch this space!
Clonmoney NS
On Thursday Clonmoney faced the combined schools of O'Callaghans Mills and Kilkishen in their Division 3 Semi Final in O'Garney Park.
At the short whistle Clonmoney lead on a score of 3-3 to 1-2 but the Mills/Kilkishen rallied in the second half to run out 3-06 to 3-05 winners.
Thanks to Mr. McCormack and Mr. Gulfoyle for all their work in coaching the boys.
St Aidans NS & St Senans NS - Shannon
Well done to JJ Quigley (St. Aidans NS) and Alex Russell (St Senans NS) who have both qualified with their respective schools for the County Final.
This will be a local Shannon derby and a novel pairing with JJ and Alex team mates with the Bridge U13s and possibly marking each other in the final.
St. Finnachtas Camogie
Well done to the Sixmilebridge NS girls who have qualified for the schools semi final against Inagh/Cloonanaha this coming Wednesday (June 5th) at 11am in Clarecastle.
Best of luck to all our young hurlers and camogie players who are in action in the coming days representing their schools
