This weekend sees the Clare Senior hurlers in action against Kilkenny in Croke Park in the All Ireland Semi Final.
More news that has all the young hurlers in the Bridge excited, is the news that Jack Fitzpatrick from St. Finnachtas NS in Sixmilebridge has been selected to represent the school, on Sunday, at half time of Cork V Limerick on behalf of the winning Mini 7's team.
It is reported that Jack is really looking forward to playing in Croke Park on Sunday as part of the GAA INTO RESPECT Exhibition Games. He will get to see behind the scenes on All Ireland Semi-Final Day, which will be a great experience.
Jack is one of the main men in our U13 hurling team and has been putting in some great performances for both club and school, as was witnessed in his recent Cumann na mBunscol win! Jack is fully deserving of his selection and we are all very proud of him here in the club and wish him all the best for Sunday.
Maith thú Jack!
