A big week of hurling ahead as we have no less tha 6 different teams competing in the days ahead.
Up first are the U14A Camogie team who after a draw last time out will be looking for their first win of the campaig. They take on Kilkishen in Kilkishen at 630 on Thursday evening.
Later on Thursday evening, the Minor Camogie team will be looking for their second win of their championship campaign afetr a very good win last week against Kilkishen. The girls take on Feakle Killanena at 730pm in Cappa Lodge.
On Friday our Intermediate hurlers are the first of the Adult hurling teams in action over the weekend, in Round 2 of the championship. After a good win a couple of weeks ago against Tubber they will be looking to continue their winning start. They play Friday night at 630pm in Kilkishen against Newmarket.
Our Seniors are out at 2pm in Clarecastle on Saturday against last years County Finallists Crusheen. This Round 2 fixture should be a thrilling encounter as these teams have had many battles down through the years. Agian after a Round 1 win against St. Josephs Doora Barefield the Seniors will be looking to continue the winning run.
Our Junior A team are out on Sunday at 2pm in Bodyke against Scarriff. Always a tough fixture the East Clare men have been strong in the Junior ranks over the last few years. Jamesie Hassetts men however will be looking to add to their opening day win against Eire Og.
On Monday our U14A Camogie team are again in action this time against Scarriff Ogonnoloe. This is ahome fixture, in O' Garney Park at 630pm.
Also on Monday evening our U15A Hurlers will take on Inagh Kilnamona in Inagh at 630pm. They will be hoping to reverse the loss from the corresponding fixture from last years U14 championship and indeed they are after a great win earlier this week against Newmarket, so best of luck to the boys in this one.
