Junior A Championship, Rd. 3
Smb 0-19
Ennistymon 3-22
Venue - Ballyea
Our Junior As played Ennistymon in Ballyea on Sunday last in Round 3 of the Championship. This was a must win game for the side to progress to the Quarter Finals, having won their opening fixture against Eire Og but losing their last fixture against Scariff.
A good performance from the Bridge saw them trail by just a goal at half time. But the gap widened as the second half progressed. Ennistymon ran out winners by 12 points in the end and unfortunately this spelled the end of championship action for this year for our Junior As.
Well done to the players and management after a long season in both league and championship.
