Its a big weekend of action for the club with 3 of our adult teams in action this weekend as well as our U15s in their final group game. The U16 Camogies start their championship also this weekend.
The U15As need a win on Saturday to have a chance of making the knockout stages. Having won their last outing against Kilmaley the Keith Walker managed side will be hoping to secure the win for progression. They play Ballyea in O' Garney Park on Saturday at 11am. All support for the boys would be very welcome.
Next up on Saturday at 1pm in Meelick is our Junior Bs who will play their final group game against Clonlara. They currently sit at the top of the table and a win would certainly see them progress to the Quarter Finals. Mikey Corbetts men will be hoping to continue their winnig start to the campaign.
On Sunday our Junior As play Ballyea in Cratloe at 12pm in a Relegation playoff. Unfortunately results didnt go our way this year at Junior A but Jamesy Hassetts men have one last chance to maintain Junior A status. No doubt their is plenty of talent and abilty within the team and it is hoped a good outcome will be had on Sunday for this group. Again sall support welcome for this important game for the club.
The highlight of the weekend will be the Senior County Semi Final where Tommy Liddy and Stiofan Fitzpatricks side will take on Inagh Kilnamona in Cusack Park on Sunday. It is great to be in the last four in the county and it will be a mommoth task against a very good Inagh Kilnamona side, but the Bridge, unbeaten this year in the championship will be hoping to secure a County Final place once again. Cratloe and Feakle face off in the other semi final on Saturday.
Best of luck to all Bridge sides participating over the weekend and please come out and support. #BridgeAbú
