The draw for the next round of the Clare Senior and Intermediate Hurling Championships will be made this evening.

Defending champions Cratloe will have to go the scenic route to defend the Canon Hamilton after losing their opening round.

Joe McGrath’s side will be in the losers section after they were beaten by Ballyea, and they'll be joined there by Tulla, Tubber, Inagh/Kilnamona, Feakle, Whitegate, Eire Óg, and the losers of the Clarecastle v Clonlara replay.

Those sides couldn't be separated after extra time on Saturday.

The winners section will consist of Ballyea, Newmarket, Kilmaley, Sixmilebridge, Crusheen, O'Callaghans Mills, Clooney/Quin and the winners of that Clarecastle v Clonlara replay.

The winners of these four ties will go straight to the quarter finals, while the losers will play off against the winners from the losers section for a place in the last 8.

The draw will be made this evening at Clare GAA Headquarters in Clareabbey at 7pm.
