At Sundays AGM, Tresurer John Gaule and Assistant Treasurer Joan Keogh departed their roles. Joan has been involved in the Treasurers role for the last 14 years and John for the last 7.

Both have been instrumental in keeping a watchful eye on and managing the club finances, which one could only equate to the running of a small to medium size business. Along with the running of the clubs day to day affairs from a financial perspective both have been heavily involved in the Arena project, from managing the direct debits to organising and drawing down loans and the regular updating of committees on the current financial status.

Both also regularly attend the Monday night Lotto meetings where all the tickets are checked and winners drawn for the week.

Joan would also have been instrumental along with others in organising the Old Folk dinners and helping out with catering on the big match days. John was never found wanting and would have lent a hand wherever required also, helping out on the Arena jobs when help was needed.Thankfully both will continue in this role so they will not be compley stepping away. They have also been very helpful volunteering for many other roles around the club and hopefully will continue to do so.

`

We would like to thank John and Joan for the hard work they brought to the roles over a long number of years, ever diligent keeping track of the money coming in and out of the club, outstanding club volunteers. 👏👏
