This was the first day out in Championship for the 'Bridge after getting a bye in the first round. Morey opened the scoreline when she converted a free two minutes in. Truagh soon pointed one of their own before they went on to get their first goal. They followed this up with another point before Naomi Carroll split the posts after a lovely pass from McGrath. Truagh returned the favour at the opposite end. Keelin Lyons went on to take her own score. Soon after Morey converted her second point. A high ball caught the 'Bridge off guard when it found its way into the back of the net. They bounced back when Carroll received a pass from Morey to rattle the Truagh net. Morey lifted the side further when she popped over an exceptional point. Aine O'Loughlin took a shot on the 'Bridge goals but it was well saved converting it into a point instead. Morey went on to point her fifth of the half. Truagh converted a free to conclude the half, making the half time score 2-5 to 1-7 in their favour. In the second half Truagh started the better adding a further three points before Morey pointed a free. Muireann Scanlon got her first of the game when she put it between the posts but Truagh came back with another three points. Aiveen added a much needed point before Carroll secured her second goal of the game making it a one point game when the final whistle blew.

Clooney got off to an ideal start, Deirdre Murphy was first to score when she converted a free. They went on to add two more before Naomi pointed after a pass from Morey. Clooney added another to their tally before Aiveen O'Shea rattled their net when Carroll's shot on goal was rebounding. Morey converted a free. Soon after she pointed another when she received a pass from Muireann Scanlon. Murphy then converted another. Morey pointed her third before Naomi made no mistake about goal this time and rattled the Clooney net. Both teams exchanged pointed before the half, the Bridge leading on a scoreline of 2-5 to 6 points. In the second half Sixmilebridge started the better Morey converted a free before Carroll rattled the Clooney net for the second time. Clooney came back with two points but Olivia Phelan found target in their goals. Clooney pointed two more before Morey converted two frees at the opposite end. Clooney bounced back scoring two points (1f) before they went on to score a goal from a free. This boosted them to add five more points bringing them into the lead by a point. In the final minute Carroll pointed to make it a draw.
