Cappa are the 2025 Parish League Champions after2 convincing wins over the Village in the Senior and Junior Finals on Friday night.

We had a great night of hurling with 4 Finals played and all with great intensity. The Mountain have won the Shield having won the Senior Shield Final and losing the Junior Shield Final but overall score difference gave them the Shield win.
Well done to all our captains on the night and all that played over the 2 weekends. It was a very enjoyable event for all ages and abilities, from age 17 to 53 and from Toggin Out to Senior level. 70 players in all took part this year and donated €5 which will be given to a special cause.

Vice Chairman Kevin Phelan who lined out with the Cappa Junior team was able to celebrate with his son Calum who captained the Cappa senior team. Cappa last won the Parish league in 2011 and on that occasion Keith Walker captained the side and Daniel Chaplin was mascot. Well on Friday night, Keith was still playing with the Junior side and Daniel played a big part in the Senior teams win!
