The 'Bridge boys in St. Josephs Tulla have bragging rights over their club mates in St. Caimins after they defeated the Shannon school on a score of 3-15 to 1-17 in Tulla on Thursday. This sees the table as follows after 2 rounds.
PRIMARY SCHOOLS
Meanwhile the local primary schools are busy preparing for the upcoming schools championship starting after Easter. The annual St Flannans hurling tournament will take place next week which is a great warm-up for the main schools competitions. Final days are scheduled for 11th & 12th June in Cusack Park. In Division 1 The Bridge are grouped with Cratloe, Tulla, Killaloe and Clonlara. In Division 4 Kilmurry are grouped with St. Aidans Shannon, Mountshannon and Flagmount.
The club will also have representation on teams in St Senans Shannon, Clonmoney and St. Aidans. The competition breakdown is as follows
PRIMARY GAME Congratuations to Lorcan Benoit (Kilmurry NS) and Matty Maxwell (St. Finnactas Sixmilebridge NS) who have both been selected to play on the Clare teams in the Primary Game. Lorcan will line out on the Clare team against Cork in Ennis while Matty will be part of the Clare team who face Waterford in Walsh Park. Well done to both lads on a wonderful achievement and we wish them both the best of luck.
