Following our win today, the seniors have qualified for their 3rd county final in 5 years under the management of John O'Meara which is a fantastic achievement for the players, management, their families, our club and the communities of Sixmilebridge and Kilmurry.
Clooney/Quin will provide the opposition in this years final in what will be a massive day given its 75 years since they last appeared in the final and more so for ourselves as it marks the 40th anniversary of our first championship win back in 1977 when Sean Stack captained the Bridge.
County final day will see the Bridge county winning team of 1992 who defeated Eire Og 1-11 to 1-10 presented as the silver jubilee team marking 25 years since there win when John (Fletcher) Chaplin lead them victory. The team won back to back titles in 1993.
An exciting few weeks ahead in the village and we urge everyone at home and abroad to get their colours out in support of the Bridge lads - Tag us on social media and we will ensure the team are made aware of the great support out there as they prepare for battle on county final day.

The event is part of a fundraising weekend on Decemner 1st for our indoor hurling arena to ensure we keep developing hurlers and the great days of the last 40 years can continue into the future.
